1. Overview

MediaDingo ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MediaDingo platform, accessible at mediadingo.com and app.mediadingo.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. By using MediaDingo, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Your Data Is Yours

You own your content. Any content you create, upload, or generate through MediaDingo — including posts, copy, images, brand assets, campaigns, and associated analytics data — belongs entirely to you. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. We do not sell, license, or use your content for any purpose other than operating and improving the service you have explicitly requested.

You may export or delete your content and account data at any time by contacting us at privacy@mediadingo.com. Upon verified request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

3. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials, managed through Clerk (our identity provider).

Content you create. Posts, captions, campaign details, brand guidelines, and scheduled content you create or generate inside MediaDingo are stored in order to deliver the service.

Connected social accounts. When you connect a social media platform, we store the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf. We use these tokens only to perform actions you explicitly initiate. We do not read your followers' private data.

Usage and analytics data. We collect standard server logs and in-app usage events (pages visited, features used, errors encountered) to operate, secure, and improve the service. This data is aggregated and is not tied to the content of your posts.

Billing information. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain records of plan type and subscription status.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the MediaDingo service
  • Publish content to social platforms on your instruction
  • Process billing and prevent fraud
  • Send transactional communications (receipts, critical service notices)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

5. Third-Party Services

MediaDingo integrates with the following third-party services to operate:

  • Clerk — identity and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Cloudflare — infrastructure, CDN, and storage
  • Social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, X Corp, TikTok, etc.) — publishing on your behalf

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum information required for them to perform their function.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data and content within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, financial records required for tax compliance may be retained for up to 7 years).

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you promptly if we become aware of a breach that affects your data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a portable copy of your data

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies required to operate authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of MediaDingo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
